Shikshit Rojgar Kendra Prabandhak Samiti (SRKPS) is committed to fostering a healthier Rajasthan through its Tobacco Cessation Program. With the support of the State Tobacco Control Cell (STCC), our initiative aims to strengthen tobacco cessation services across 10 districts of Rajasthan by enhancing institutional capacity, integrating brief advice into primary healthcare services, and promoting tobacco-free lifestyles.
The project focuses on capacity building, establishing Tobacco Cessation Centres (TCCs) at medical colleges, and facilitating tobacco cessation counselling through health workers and helpline services. By leveraging a systems approach and collaborating with government health programs like the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP), we strive to create a comprehensive, sustainable framework for tobacco cessation. With technical assistance from cessation experts, SRKPS aims to bridge service delivery gaps and empower communities through awareness, training, and accessible cessation services. This initiative underscores our commitment to promoting a tobacco-free Rajasthan, safeguarding public health, and ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.
